Seems I have lost my identity :)
On a different note.....we were driving down the road today and out of the blue Mason asks me...."mom when I get old will my fingernail get old and I will have to pull it out?" I sometimes wonder how these funny things run through a little persons mind.

Mason was saying his prayers tonight and prayed for *Chance* to start being nice to him at school. Gee, I wonder if Mason's older brother Spenser is saying a prayer for the same thing about *Mason* tonight??? :)
Get over yourself
So on to the "get over yourself". I opened the mail right before 6 this afternoon to find a letter from our bank telling us that we had returned checks. What? How can this be? DH just told me that we were out of checks for that account so we couldn't have written any checks. WRONG...turns out that DH found a book of checks, didn't bother to tell me and wrote our bills right on out from that bank. I had no clue that he found checks so I automatically went and deposited our $ at our other bank. Oh my goodness, we had written out over $700 in bills & with my luck the other 5 checks will try to come through tonight...can you say "HUGE RETURNED CHECK FEES? So I am crying and acting like a crazy blubbering girl. When all of a sudden this peace comes over me and says, it will be okay, there are worse things that could happen. So I immediately calmed down. (that is such an awesome feeling when the Holy spirit comes over you and gives you peace).
Tonight we were having "Ruth Fellowship" at church for our ladies ministry. I really didn't want to go but I sure am glad that I did. We had such a nice meeting and I met a few new people. One dear lady at our church asked for prayer for her daughters and grandchildren. She stated that her daughters husband had left her with 4 children and no heat in the house. She also said that they just found out that her grandson has a brain tumor. Of course I am feeling awful by now and thinking how petty my situation was earlier today and that I should be very thankful that God is good. Well after the Ruth Fellowship meeting I come home to find out that DH's 24 yo cousin was in a horrible car accident and he isn't expected to live. :( He had to be airlifted to a bigger city and has already had brain surgery to remove a clot and help with the swelling. This family could really use our prayers!

LOVE

I love being a mama...it's what I do best, I think? :) Here we have some yummy Valentine cookies, and I swear I think there is a law somewhere that says - SOMEBODY has to cry when we do our little holiday yummies. Seriously, it always ends up this way. Out of 3 kids, somebody has to get their pantie*s in a wad EVERY time. So on this day it was Ashlyn's turn. I absolutely LOVE doing the little cookies and cakes for holidays with the kids. I love it. But every holiday I set myself up....I get so stinking excited about doing this and at the end I think why? Ha! Why do I set myself up, thinking we are going to have a grand ol' time doing this...and it usually falls apart, he he! But that is okay by me...I love doing it, I hope they love doing it and if they don't, maybe one day they will learn to love it too!! (fingers crossed)

I was surfing through blogs the other night and came across this video. WOW...that about sums it up :) It is so inspirational and I have listened to it about 10 times since I found it. It just picks me up and I wanted to share with anyone who needs a pick me up!
My sweet, sweet girl sat on my lap for about 15 minutes last night as we surfed the net looking for different praise songs. She had already had her bath and was smelling OH so good and in her soft pink jammies. She was really digging all of the songs we were listening to. We even got up a few times and boogied down. I came across this video in the wee hours the night before, while doing a blog hop from here to there. I am new to blogging and I dove in last night going from blog to blog reading about people that I don't know and most likely will never know. I found some seriously funny people, your average everyday gals and lot's of hurting people too. It is amazing to me how so many people across the world can come together in prayer and give support to people they don't even know. To every one of you, I offer my prayers.
Have a groovy kind of day!

Wrestlemania
well not exactly...he he he! Mason, my crazy third and last child loves his action figures, super heroes, etc. He has 3 spiderman costumes, incredible hulk, Mr. Incredible, Thing (from fantastic four), The flame dude too. When he puts those costumes on (around 363 days a year) he becomes these figures and acts like them. He acts tough and rough and stomps around. Well at 5 years old, Mr. Super hero himself decides that he wants to take wrestling*. (dh was a super wrestler* back in the day) We sign him up, dh is assistant coach and really tries to make it all big for him. Let me remind you that this is the SAME child who w*restles on the floor with his 12 year old brother and gives his BIG BROTHER a run for his money. He is tough, strong, hyper and plain ol' crazy when he wrestl*es at home. So you can imagine my dh's frustration when his child goes to a wrestli*ng match and all he is concerned about is getting a slice of pizza. He pouts and whines and barely even attempts to wrestle. I just don't get it. He is soooo SUPER strong but goes out there and acts like an injured bird flopping around. he he!

F is for FORGIVENESS We cannot have eternal life and heaven without God's forgiveness.— In Him [meaning Jesus] we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.Ephesians 1:7a, NKJV.
A is for AVAILABLE -Forgiveness is available. It is...
• Available for All -For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.John 3:16, NKJV.• But Not AutomaticNot everyone who says to Me, "Lord, Lord," shall enter the kingdom of heaven.Matthew 7:21a, NKJV.
I is for IMPOSSIBLE It is impossible for God to allow sin into heaven. • Because of who He is: God is loving and just. His judgment is against sin.For judgment is without mercy to the one who has shown no mercy.James 2:13a, NKJV. • Because of who we are: Every person is a sinner. For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.Romans 3:23, NKJV.
But how can a sinful person enter heaven, when God allows no sin? T is for TURN Turn means repent. • Turn from something-sin and self. But unless you repent you will all likewise perish.Luke 13:3b, NKJV.• Turn to Someone: Trust Christ only.If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.Romans 10:9, NKJV. H is for HEAVEN Heaven is eternal life. • Here — I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.John 10:10b, NKJV.• Hereafter —And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.John 14:3, NKJV.• How? How can a person have God's forgiveness, heaven and eternal life, and Jesus as personal Savior and Lord? By trusting in Christ and asking Him for forgiveness. Take the step of faith described by another meaning of FAITH: F orsaking All I T rust H im.
Talk to Him. Simply pray...
Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner and have displeased You in many ways. I believe You died for my sin and only through faith in Your death and resurrection can I be forgiven. I want to turn from my sin and ask You to come into my life as my Savior and Lord. From this day on, I will follow You by living a life that pleases You. Thank You, Lord Jesus, for saving me. Amen.
After you have received Jesus Christ into your life, tell a Christian friend about the important decision you have made. Follow Christ in believer's baptism and church membership. Grow in faith and enjoy new friends in Christ by becoming a part of His church and attending the Sunday School class a church has just for you. You'll find others who will love and support you. Would you like to talk to someone right now? You can call 888-NEED-HIM anytime.

Christmas was wonderful

I
I have never spent a Christmas with my dad and I turned 35 in December. I only met him 5 years ago and he and his wife and son came down to stay with my family for Christmas. It truly was the best gift that anyone could have given me!
The kids had a blast and loved all of their Christmas gifts. Ashlyn must have been a pretty good girly this year because she got her very own Princess power wheels car with a real radio!! She's one hot chick sporting around in that car!!
Mason learned to ride a bike without training wheels on his little bitty bike that he has had FOREVER! He got a new bike for Christmas but is so scared to ride it because it is higher and more off the ground. SIGH.....we will get there some day!!
Spenser received a PLAYSTATION 2...his other one has been jacke d up for a while so he was really excited to get this! He also got a stero for his bedroom and he thinks he is Mr. Cool!
This Christmas was so magical that I wasn't ready for it to end so quickly. Now the kids are back in school and I am trying to help the neglected house to recover!!

Update from our house
Mr. M is starting to be so tender hearted. It just melts my heart to hear him pray. The other day I had a migraine all day and none of my medicine worked to get rid of it. I had felt like p*oop all day long. Well to top it off I hit my head some kind of hard that afternoon and was crying so hard that I thought I was going to pass out. The pain was just unbearable. When I finally calmed down I realized that my migraine was gone! OH yeaahhhh I have found the cure for migraines....just smack your head really hard on something and you will be temporarily cured! so back to Mason....that night in bed he is saying his prayers and asks me "mommy can I pray for your brain?" Well of course I told him that he could and now he prays for my brain every night! Ohhh I just love him.
On the way to school the other day he asked me if I could call Jesus for him. I told him that I would and asked him what did he want me to tell him. He said "oh no, I want you to call him for me, but I want to talk to him."
On to Ashlyn....she is talking like crazy and is such a cute little thing with all of her bossiness. She was in the bed with mommy and daddy the other night and kept calling us "Turrell". "Good morning Turrell, how doing, hey Turrell". So I figured out quickly that Turrell had to be a child in her class. She is also pointing to us and asking us every 5 minutes "ew name?"...that is short for "what is your name?" Our crazy dog Macee is such a wild crazy dog and jumps all over us for attention. I was getting Ashlyn off of the bus today and Macee came running up and freaked Ashlyn out. I scooped her up and carried her to the house as she cried "scarry". Macee is now "scarry".
Spenser just celebrated his 12th birthday and is doing really well in school. He made all A's except for one B. I honestly don't know how the child does it....I rarely see him doing homework and never see him study. He is just a natural brainiac I guess. He is busy trying to be a good brother to Ashlyn and busy trying to get Mason to BE a good brother. :)
