Jason Upton- spirit of adoption
Jason Upton has become one of my new favorite Christian performers. His song "Father to the fatherless" is an awesome song that has a wonderful message. After he performs the song below he gives his testimony about being adopted himself.

The Purpose driven life daily devotional
God Spoke You into Existence by Jon Walker
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” Jeremiah 1:5 (NIV)

Today’s guest devotional is by Jon Walker –
Dear one, you were started as an idea in the mind of God! You exist because the God of the universe thought you up!
The God who spoke the world into existence, the God who hung the moon and the stars, the God who set the sun in the sky – this creative Creator thought about you, was pleased by his thoughts, and so he spoke you into your mother’s womb in the same way that he spoke the world into existence.
As my friend, Rick Warren, says in The Purpose Driven Life, you are not an accident. You were created by God at just the right time, in just the right place, with just the right way to serve God in “such a time as this” (Esther 4:14 NIV).
You are not a product of God’s assembly line. Rather, you’re a unique creation, like a priceless painting from a grand master: “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so that we can do the good things he planned for us long ago” (Ephesians 2:10 NLT).
God carefully and lovingly selected your eyes, your hair color, your nose, your intellect, your personality. None of this is an accident, so, if you’ve been rejecting yourself, then you’ve been rejecting God’s design of you. It’s okay to talk to him about your frustrations, disappointments, or confusion.
Ask God to help you live as the person he designed you to be. Ask him to give you a clear and present vision of your purpose in life; then, ask him to be your strength and wisdom as you live it out.

BIG GIRL
My girl is growing up. She sat all by herself in the booster chair today to get her hair cut AND I was still in the salon standing next to her. Honestly, I have left the salon bleeding from where she scratched the poop out of me. Since the wild woman has a problem with me being in the salon why she gets her hair cut- I have been known to hide in the storage area or to even go outside of the salon while Spenser or daddy held her. She cooperates for everyone but me so I have to be the one to go and hide. :) Today was a HUGE day...not only did she sit in the chair by herself, BUT I was standing right next to her while she got a haircut. DANG I am so proud of this girly of mine.
Oh and another biggie for Ashlyn, she doesn't ask to watch cartoons or baby shows anymore, like Barney, Wiggles, Teletubbies, etc. Now she wants to watch - nah nah nah -tanna. That translates to what? Hannah Montana. he he he! She also asks to watch "Corey in the house". I love this girl.

4th of July Fair
Every year we drag our booties out to the fair in Faith that runs for a week the week of 4th of July. Of course we drag our kiddies kicking and screaming because they hate going....can't you tell?? ha ha!
Here is *wild man* and his sister *wild woman*
She has come so FAR!! She goes from one extreme to the other.
Just 2 years ago you couldn't pay her to even ride the horsie outside of Wal-mart.
Scared the pee out of her....
NOW, she pitched a fit to ride the big, SCARY, upside down rides. (heck no, she didn't ride, way too short and mommy-- WAY to scared to let her.
So here we are...keeping it safe.....
So here we are...keeping it safe.....
I'm too sexy for these rides
Mr. Cool himself...way too cool for mom to take his pictures at the fair, he he he!
Let's get ready to slide.....
Thanks for the ride Spenser, have I told you lately how much I love you big brother?
COUSINS....ahhhh I am loving it that my kiddos are growing up with cousins to play with,
have sleepovers, go on hayrides, swimming, fishing, lunch at me-maws on Sunday after church
and of course they always
go to the fairs each year! My siblings and I also grew up with cousins our age and we
have some great memories spending lot's and lot's time making cherished memories as well!
